I have to say that this is, hands down, the most cool thing that I've seen a participant do in any MOOC I've ever been!  Kudos to Guilia Forsythe!

So, I’m issuing a remix challenge. Record some audio for my doodle: using your PC, Mac, mobile, soundcloud, YouTube, etc. (your tool of choice, etc.), while watching the video and post it here for me. Or download the video using MPEG StreamClip and do whatever you like to it! (Update: I’ve made a version without audio for easier remixing)
Maybe me and some fellow Greeks in education can come up with some hip-hop lyrics for this ;-)

Continuing on my exploration of ANT, and asynchronous and indirect dialogue with Latour - this blog post will cover the third source of uncertainty, which according to Latour, is that Objects have agency too! You've been punk'd! However, that was an educational experience

It's now the end of Teaching Goes Massive: New Skills Required (aka #massiveteaching) on coursera. Well, almost, we still have a couple of days left. I guess that the lesson here is that we were (the "learners") were punk'd† by Paul-Olivier Dehaye of the Univerisity of Zurich. After that last blog post (and subsequent pickup of the post by George Siemens and others) Inside Higher Education and the Chronicle wanted to chat with me about this MOOC experience. I only had time for one of the two before things went to press, so my 15 minutes of fame went to IHE.  Both IHE and the C hronicle have written about the topic, and have received some information from Coursera on the incident.  Others have also written about it (see here , here and here ) It's surprising to me that the University, and Coursera, waited until after this thing was a big issue in order to respond in the class, and clue people into what was happening. Ψηφιακές ταυτότητες

Το Change11 έχει σχεδον φτάσει στο τέλος. Αυτή η εβδομάδα είναι η τελευταία, και το θέμα είναι η Ανοιχτή Έρευνα και η ανοιχτή διανομή αυτής της έρευνας (open publishing). Η περασμένη εβδομάδα όμως ήταν αφιερωμένη στις ψηφιακές ταυτότητες - το ποιοί είμαστε στο διαδίκτυο. Μερικοί από εμάς γράφουμε επώνυμα...άλλοι γράφουμε ανώνυμα, και άλλοι έχουν δύο ή παραπάνω διαδικτυακές ταυτότητες. Αυτό το είδαμε λίγο με τις έρευνες του Τζώρτζ Βελετσιάνος πριν από καμιά εβδομάδα. Αυτό που ήθελα να μας προβληματίσει λίγο είναι όχι μόνο οι ψηφιακές ταυτότητες μας στο διαδίκτυο, αλλά και τα καθημερινά μας περιβάλλοντα που μας επιτρέπουν λίγο ή πολύ να έχουμε μια επώνυμη παρουσία στο διαδίκτυο. Για παράδειγμα, εγώ διατηρώ παραπάνω από μια ταυτότητα στο διαδίκτυο. Η μία είναι για τους γνωστούς και τους φίλους και είναι διαθέσιμη μόνο με πρόσκληση, ενώ αυτή εδώ η ταυτότητα, σε αυτό το μπλόγκ είναι δημόσια. Όποιος με βρίσκει με βλέπει, και βλέπει τι γράφω.
